Quality construction

The Odyssey OAS700 alto saxophone is an instrument that will comfortably take you to a Grade 5 standard. To ensure that your tone is always warm and rounded, the Odyssey OAS700 is made from quality rose brass. Rose brass produces a softer, more mellow tone compared to yellow brass. So whether you're playing in a classical or pop environment, the OAS700 will always blend with those around you. Once the Odyssey alto has been finished, the rose brass is covered in a clear lacquer giving this instrument a striking appearance.

Often manufacturers of student saxophones will use cheap pads which can lead to playing issues in the future. This is why Odyssey have used quality Italian pads on the OAS700 alto saxophone. Known in the saxophone world as some of the best pads you can get, Italian pads will not let you down. Thanks to their high-quality construction, these pads will form a tight seal around the tone holes. What does this mean for you? Easier note production, better intonation, and an overall better playing experience. These pads are definitely going to make your life easier.

Included accessories

Unlike similarly priced instruments, the Odyssey OAS700 Premiere alto sax comes with a whole wealth of accessories to ensure you can get started straight away. To keep your saxophone safe, the Premiere sax comes with a lightweight case that offers strong protection. On the outside of the case, you will find two robust handles. On the front of the case, there is a large zipped pocket which is perfect for all your sheet music.

Moulded especially for the Premiere alto saxophone, the Odyssey sax fits perfectly inside the case. For an extra touch of protection, the inside is lined with a soft-touch material that won't scratch your sax. There is also a dedicated compartment for all of the other included accessories. Also included is a Vandoren reed, gloves, cleaning cloth, cork grease, neck sling, mouthpiece, cap, and a BG L12SR ligature.
