Not only is the ZEN One Studio a powerful audio interface, but it is also a fully-fledged digital audio hub; utilising high-end components and cutting-edge technology to achieve audiophile-grade sound quality. At the heart of the DAC is a powerful 16-core XMOS processor (with full MQA decoding up to 384kHz) which delivers high-speed performance and exceptional sonic accuracy. The digital engine supports high-resolution audio with support for 32-bit/384kHz PCM and fully native DSD making it perfect for professional music production as well as mixing and mastering applications.
As well as the physical components, the ZEN One Studio also features support for a wide range of high-definition Bluetooth codecs including aptX HD, aptX adaptive, LDAC and more. Equipped with the latest Bluetooth wireless technology, the ZEN One Studio delivers superior sound performance compared to standard Bluetooth devices. The built-in antenna ensures rock-sold signal stability, ensuring you never experience drop outs in the studio.
With its hybrid design, the ZEN One Studio gives you the connection options you need to process virtually any sound source. As well as the Bluetooth HD connectivity, the ZEN One Studio also features 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced and XLR balanced analog outputs, allowing you to connect active monitor, headphone amps, external amplifiers and preamps directly to the interface.
At its analog stage, the ZEN One Studio utilises a balanced circuit design with cutting-edge circuit components to ensure ultra-low distortion performance and complete sonic purity. Its digital engine features coaxial S/PDIF digital outputs with support for 3-bit/192kHz PCM and MQA, allowing you to incorporate digital audio as well as analog.
Keeping everything in sync is made easy thanks to the inclusion of the GMT femto-precision clock. Utilising their groundbreaking GMT (Global Master Timing) technology, iFi has truly changed the game with this ultra-accurate clock complete with an intelligent memory buffer. Using a custom digital filter, the ZEN One Studio completely eliminating jitter and distortion to deliver complete sonic accuracy.
As well as the antenna, the ZEN One Studio features a range of front-panel controls including an audio format/LED indicator, displaying when the various audio formats are in use. There is also a second 'Display LED' that indicates which codec/mode you are currently using with different coloured LEDs for each setting. The front panel also features an input selector and a combination putting for display on/off and Bluetooth pairing.
Whether you're monitoring a mix through your headphone or listening to your favourite music; the ZEN CAN Studio delivers superior sound reproduction compared to your device's audio interface/sound chip. Utilising Class-A amplification and discrete components, the ZEN CAN Studio delivers exceptional sound reproduction, capturing every nuance of your source audio with incredible sonic accuracy. Designed with professionals in mind, the front panel features a four-step gain adjustment control that allows you to toggle between 0, 5, 12 and 18dB settings – perfect for any headphone type.
Controlling your volume is made simple using the large analog volume control; providing channel matching even at low-listening levels for a truly immersive listening experience. You can also switch seamlessly between each of the three inputs on offer using the 'input selector' button on the front panel. With a high-powered output of up to 1600mW, the ZEN CAN Studio can handle high-impedance loads with ease.
Robust, compact and portable; the ZEN CAN Studio is perfect for musicians in the studio or on the move. The durable aluminium enclosure protects the internal analog components and all the discrete circuitry whilst on the move. With three balanced inputs to choose from ( XLR, 4.4mm and single-ended 3.5mm) and a range of outputs (Balanced 4.4 and line-level outputs with 6.3mm headphone output); you can enjoy high-end sound no matter your chosen headphone type.
