At the heart of the Beyerdynamic FOX is a large-diaphragm condenser capsule that delivers studio-grade sound quality, boasting 24-bit/96khz audio resolution – the same resolution found in high-end studio mics. The optimised digital signal processing delivers a natural overall sound, capturing every nuance of your voice/instrument with maximum accuracy.
The capsule is equipped with a cardioid polar pattern which minimises any background noise for a focused and full-bodied sound. The microphone also features a built-in gain switch which allows you to adjust the microphones’ volume on the fly – and for podcasting and live streams.

What sets the Beyerydynamic FOX apart from conventional USB microphones is the onboard controls and built-in headphone output. The front of the microphone features volume control for the microphone as well as the headphone monitoring mix. You can dial-in your levels using the rotary controls to ensure you get the best possible sound when recording. It even has a built-in ‘Mute’ button for when you need some privacy or to converse with an artist whilst recording.
The FOX comes complete with a range of premium-grade accessories including a sturdy stand for desktop use. You can also attach the microphone to most stands including boom arms via the built-in 3/8-inch thread. You can also attach it to tripods when using a 5/8-inch thread adapter (not included). Also included is a metal windshield which helps to eliminate plosives and sibilance, ensuring a clean and rich recording every single time. Last but not least, a bright orange USB-C cable is included (2 metres in length) which makes the cable stand out from others so you can see which cable belongs to the mic at a glance.
