Born in 1962 and residing in Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina, he dedicates his life to teaching, recording engineering, and music. His educational journey in music began at ISEDET and continued under the guidance of Carlos Piegari at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, enhancing his guitar skills, and later while studying Physics in Bariloche on a scholarship from the National Atomic Energy Commission at the Balseiro Institute, he ventured into flute and composition, studying extensively with José Luis Tubert.
His artistic expression is shown in his studio recordings where he layers sounds from various instruments such as guitars, flutes, charangos, sikus, and antaras, creating ensemble pieces solo. A unique aspect of his compositions is incorporating natural sounds, evoking vivid imagery and emotions beyond traditional music, reminiscent of cinematic experiences. Beyond his solo endeavours, he has collaborated with Jorge Shitu, Marcelo Zapata, and notably with LA FRAGUA, producing notable works like "DE LOS ANDES A LOS BEATLES" and "From the Andes to Vivaldi - The Four Seasons," blending South American rhythms with folk instruments. With 12 CDs to his name and his music featured on various TV programs internationally, his work spans both solo and collaborative projects, marking significant contributions to the fusion of folk and classical music genres.
