Using the expander modules, each of the user-defined frequency bands can apply downward or upward expansion, unlocking a huge variety of tonal shaping options. Using the downwards expansion, you can reduce the decay in the room tone of your sound, making it ideal for removing any boxy or muddy sounding drum room decay for your drum shells. Upward expansion allows you to pump your tone up and let it jump out of your mix, ideal for pushing the high-midrange of a driving rock vocal performance.
