The McDSP 6020 Ultimate EQ HD v7 is a HD-ready modern EQ plug-in with ten different modes for a variety of unique tones. Compatible with HD formats, the McDSP 6020 Ultimate EQ HD v7 can run on your host processing or the DSP processors (such as the McDSP APB or the Avid HDX) to save your system from excessive CPU. McDSP 6020 Ultimate EQ HD is McDSP's complete EQ package giving you an EQ for every occasion. In 6020 Ultimate EQ, you get ten high-quality EQ modules that are suitable for a variety of uses with simple, immaculate interfaces that will perform no matter what instrument you're providing a sonic frequency boost to. You'll be able to process your audio with complete precision thanks to the controls on each module such as variable frequency band control and gain dials.
Rather than emulating one specific piece of vintage analogue hardware, 6020 gives you emulations of a few with a couple of tweaks here and there to bring them into the 21st century so that they are ready for the modern-day 'in-the-box' producer and mix engineer. The 6020 features EQ modules that are perfect for every scenario and that includes vocals. E300/301 British E, Moo Q and EZ Q are all ready and waiting for your vocal and dialogue needs, you can even remove annoying plosives with the high-pass filter that is featured on more than one of the modules on this plugin. You'll be able to fine-tune to your heart's desire with a variety of frequency ranges accessible on the modules included.
Drums that pack a punch
The four band configurations on a selection of the modules featured enable you to give your drums some power, with the flexibility to edit the whole drum kit at once, or take your time to focus on one aspect of the kit at a time, the choice is yours. Whatever drum editing you'll be doing, Ultimate EQ is the perfect companion whether you want to bring out the thump of a kick drum, make the snare fizz that little bit more, or need to reduce some of that harmonic ring that comes with the toms, any job will be a breeze once you apply 6020 and get tweaking.
