Golden Drop Capsule

The JZ Vintage 11 features a GDC11 double large diaphragm Golden Drop Capsule which uses an innovative technology where multiple golden dots are sputtered onto the diaphragm. These Vintage GDC's were developed for Vintage series mics to deliver the captured sound field from Vintage type capsules in a more accurate way. They are lighter so they can detect and deliver much faster changes in musical content. It also gives more clarity, precision and less colourations and distortions in frequency response and improves the sonic characteristics of your recording.

Electronics

The JZ Vintage 11 uses Class A discrete electronics with all components tested and measured for maximum performance giving the cleanest audio signal path and extremely low self noise. All components are hand soldered to avoid overheating and they have a tolerance 1.5% in differences between them.
