Low-end is the most crucial part of any contemporary mix, whether that's electronic music with a low-end focus or modern indie, rock, jazz or pop, having an exciting bass response that's powerful and punchy is the key to taking your productions to the next level. As much as Sasquatch Kick Machine 2 is used to mix individual elements of your mix, it can also serve to enhance the overall perception of your mix, particularly in the low-end. In the Oomph section, you will find a parameter called "Round". This will allow you to adjust the harmonic content of your waveform to change the way your sound reacts in a mix. When working with harsher waveforms, the upper harmonics can often be distracting and take away the punch and power from the low-end content of your track. This is ideal when producing bass-heavy music such as electronic dance music.
Conversely, you can use the "Round" feature to tailor your mix to different playback systems. Smaller speakers will often have a difficult time replicating extremely low frequencies found in bass guitars, synthesizers or kick drums. To get around this problem, you can add subtle harmonics to the lower notes in your mix to trick your hearing into being able to pick out the fundamental note whilst hearing an over-tone harmonic of the signal.
