Incorporate Samples into Your Modular System

This affordable modular sample player provides high-fidelity sound reproduction, making it perfect for sound design. You can load up to 32 samples at once time, allowing you to switch between them using the file knob or via the CV input.

Three playback modes are available, including: one-shot, looping or gated playback. The playback modes boast extremely low latency for optimised audio performance. You can change the way your samples sound by controlling the pitch. The module offers the ability to pitch samples up two octaves or downwards three octaves. The pitch knob provides precision control of your samples. It can be used as a free running pitch control or quantized to semitones for maximum versatility.

Pre-Loaded SD Card

The 2hp Play module plays samples directly from the SD card slot. The module comes complete with a pre-loaded SD card which includes loops, drum hits and field recordings to get you started straight out of the box. The samples can be used for a variety of applications, specially suited for sound design and live use.

The feature set of the module can also be edited and expanded via the config file on the SD card. You can also incorporate your own samples by putting custom .WAV samples on your SD card.

CV Connectivity

The module includes multiple CV connections for communicating between and controlling external modules. A 1V/octave input allows you to control the pitch, providing a range spanning 1.5V to +6.5V. The trigger input triggers the currently selected file to start playing. The gate input is rising edge sensitive, allowing you to trigger any length of play.
