Pitch correction, harmony, talkbox and much more
The V3 Vocal Processor is packed with a variety of different vocal processors, allowing you to experiment with your voice and create full-bodied and powerful performances. From the studio to the stage, the V3 is perfect for vocalists providing a wide range of effects and processors which each have their own unique sound.
Pitch Correction is highly popular in Hip-Hop, RnB and dance music. The autotune-style sound has dominated the charts and now you can utilise the same vocal processing – live! There are also a range of interesting and popular processors such as: Talkbox, Vocodor, Distortion, Unison and much more.
The Harmony processor creates a harmonisation effect by using your voice as the guide. It works by using your vocal performance and pitching it up and down, so it sounds like a live 3-piece harmony. The Harmony works in both minor and major keys which you can select using the dedicated key select knob.
Built-in effects and enhanced clarity
As well as the range of vocal processing tools, the Zoom V3 also features built-in dynamic effects which you can use to texturise your vocals even further. Three effects are included with their own dedicated knobs so you can dial in your required levels. The effects are comprised of: Reverb, Delay and Compression. Reverb and Delay is highly useful for vocal processing as it allows you to add depth to your sound.
On the left side of the Vocal Processor is an “Enhance” button. Pressing this button activates the premium-quality mic preamp which helps to enhance the clarity of your sound. Once pressed, the preamp will turn on and the results will speak for themselves. You can also change the character of your vocals using the “Formant” control which allows you to alter the style of your voice without affecting the overall pitch.
Integrated audio interface and portable design
Not only is the Zoom V3 great for live vocalists, but it can also be used for a variety of applications from podcasting to live-streaming and much more. The integrated audio interface allows you to record and stream directly from the V3 Vocal Processor. It will process your sound at up 32-bit/48kHz resolutions for exceptional clarity and audio fidelity.
From your desktop to the stage, the V3’s compact design is ideal for any musician. From using it on tour to practising at home, the portable size makes it easy to take with you anywhere you go. It can also be powered by 4 x AA batteries (included) or via USB for added convenience. It can also be attached to a microphone stand so you have all your equipment in one compact space.
