Daslight Virtual Controller DVC GZM Overview
The Daslight DVC GZM is a USB DMX interface that provides power and expandability in spades. A new redesign for 2021 adds a durable metal housing, USB Type-B connector, Ethernet connectivity, microSD card memory for standalone use, as well as the ability to upgrade to 2048 DMX channels and 30 Art-Net universes from its standard 1536 out of the box. With a new and advanced standalone mode, the DVC GZM provides a powerful range of options to control an advanced light show without a computer.
Included with the DVC GZM are full licenses for both Daslight 4's lighting software suite, as well as the upcoming Daslight 5, so you can upgrade on release of the new version at no additional cost. Hook up the GZM to your network and control it with Daslight over longer distances. The network connection also allows you to control the device in stand alone mode using the Easy Remote app for iPhone/iPad/Android.
Stand Alone
The Daslight DVC GZM comes with microSD memory, allowing for programmed shows to be run in stand alone mode without a computer. Stand alone mode is perfect for smaller shows where a computer is not needed, as a backup in case of computer failure, or for architectural installations. The scenes can be changed via + and - push buttons on the controller, or over a network using the Easy Remote iPhone/iPad/Android app.
