The 4015 fills the void between omnidirectional and uni-directional microphones. Boasting completely linear off-axis characteristics, this mic ensures authentic reproduction of your sound source. This is thanks to the soft-attenuation that occurs to any off-axis sound source leakage instead of the often unnatural results of standard cardioid polar patterns.

With such an open pickup area, the 4015 blends the natural room sound with your sound source for beautifully organic results. Perfect for capturing vocals and a huge range of instrumentation, the 4015 promises outstanding sonic performance with a rich low-end and a precise and open overall sound.

High-end MMP-A preamplifier

The MMP-A is a transformerless solution with ultra-transparent performance and Active Drive technology for impedance balancing. This high-end preamp can be combined with any of DPA's pencil microphone capsules for incomparable sound quality and simple operation. Featuring a dynamic range of 138dB, the MMP-A provides a wide range of usability for flexible operation. The MMP-A boasts a switchable attenuation pad, allowing you to lower the output of the microphone by 20dB (switching back to 0dB bypasses the attenuator). This handy preamp allows you to get the best out of your microphone with ease thanks to DPA's intelligent modular system.
