Altered FM synthesizer with optimised workflow
The Opsix MKII is designed to streamline your workflow and make sound creation a breeze. Its data entry knobs provide quick access to essential parameters, whether you're tweaking a preset or building a patch from scratch. The large OLED display offers a clear overview of your workflow, ensuring a seamless and efficient music-making process. With Opsix, you can create new sounds with ease and have fun exploring different sonic landscapes.
Analog-style filters with classic-style design
Opsix features a full range of analogue-style filters, including the iconic Korg MS-20 low-pass/high-pass filter and the powerful Korg PolySix low-pass filter. These filters, combined with two- or four-pole options for low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-reject, offer unparalleled shaping possibilities for your sounds. Additionally, Opsix comes equipped with a spectrum analyzer and oscilloscope built-in, providing you with visual feedback and insight into the music you're creating.
Versatile sound shaping controls
At the heart of Opsix MKII lies the Operator Mixer, a set of six faders and knobs that invite exploration. Each of the six parts lights up to indicate whether it's generating a sound or modulating the sound. By adjusting the position of these controllers, you unlock a world of sound-shaping possibilities, breathing fresh life into your musical ideas. Opsix's unique hands-on workflow empowers you to push the boundaries of your creativity.
Step sequencer and studio-grade effects
With thirty high-definition effects at your disposal, Opsix enables you to elevate your sound to new heights. From chorus and phaser to delay and compressor, alongside world-class shimmering reverbs, these effects add depth and character to your compositions. Whether you're looking to add a subtle touch or create a striking sonic landscape, Opsix has you covered.
Opsix MKII features an incredible step sequencer that opens up a world of possibilities for creating captivating sequences. Record your own sequences or simply press play for each sound to explore the depth of sequence possibilities. With the ability to record up to six notes per step, along with control over velocity, gate time, and playback timing, you can create intricate phrases and subtle timing variations that bring your music to life. The motion sequencer allows you to record changes in up to six parameters, enabling you to build evolving rhythms and intricate patterns.
Endless modulation possibilities
Opsix MKII offers six operator modes and 40 preset algorithms, allowing you to dive deep into modulation possibilities. Create your own algorithms to craft unique sounds or choose from the extensive range of presets. The synthesis is supercharged with processors at the end of the signal chain, featuring three EGs and three LFOs in the MOD section. With 12 virtual patches for versatile routing options, Opsix MKII offers an incredible range of modulation possibilities. Whether you're looking to create swirling soundscapes or add rhythmic motion to your sounds, Opsix has the tools to help you achieve your vision.
