Creating music made simple
Create advanced compositions. As you're playing around with different creative ideas, you'll be able to experiment with any of the 600 different AiX tones. This vast selection of sounds, in Casio's remarkable AiX quality, will mean you find just the right one for whatever style you are after. Then, you can build up your music. There's plenty of backing to choose from with 200 rhythms and 200 one touch presets. Casio's lighted keys system is a well-known learning tool. This visual system means playing the right notes has never been simpler, so you can enjoy making fun tunes from the start.
Features made for easy use
Keep your keyboard uncluttered with a backlit LCD screen and jog wheel. These quick and simple ways of navigating your keyboard's functions mean your instrument can have a clean and minimalist look. Plus, it's natural and intuitive to use as you can quickly switch between the different tones and see clearly which voice you're using at every moment, even if your environment is dark.
Advanced sound technology
Create an impressive sound. Casio's new AiX sound source has been redesigned from top to bottom to create the best keyboard sound that modern technology can produce. With high-performance DSP effects and master EQ, it produces sounds with greater clarity and expression than previously found in a portable keyboard. Added to this are the new Bass Reflex speakers, to deliver a powerful bass sound that will project your sound with strength. The sound itself is rich and surrounding, thanks to 48 note polyphony to let your notes ring out. Vary your sound with touch sensitive keys, which you can adapt with three different touch response levels. This will replicate the way that an acoustic piano's dynamics are altered by how strongly you press on the keys. Add expression to your performance.
New musical possibilities with connectivity
Using your smart devices with your keyboard has become a great addition for the modern musician. The LK-450 keyboard caters for this with a USB microsocket in the back to easily connect to a smartphone, tablet, or PC. Also, with the option to connect a Bluetooth dongle (not included), your keyboard can become a Bluetooth speaker. Playing along with backing tracks you have composed has never been simpler. This would also make your keyboard a Bluetooth MIDI device, so you could easily connect to music learning apps like Casio Music Space to support your with your musical progress.
Casio Music Space
This product now works with Casio's companion app, Casio Music Space. This app will allow you to access new possibilities with your Casio product whatever your playing ability. It can be used as a learning aid with a vast library of songs which you can play along with. Each note and its duration is shown visually in a piano roll making it easy to find the right notes and see how a piece of music is written. If you're more confident with reading music then you can try out the score mode - use the inbuilt scores or import your own to play along with! Page turns can be done with a pedal so you can focus entirely on your reading and playing.
A live concert simulator will simulate the reverb of a real concert space with several different settings to make you feel like you're performing in a wide variety of concert venues. You can also now access your digital piano or keyboard's settings quickly and easily with the app. No more remembering key and button combinations to alter settings - you can now change them in an easy to use and visual menu included in Casio Music Space. This app is available for free and more information can be found here.
