Iconic Humbucking Pickup Sound

For a full sound, the SubZero Generation boats two humbucking pickups. These low-noise pickups will provide your playing with clarity whilst remaining dark and heavy. The SubZero Generation utilises ceramic magnets, enhancing your playing by producing a well-rounded low end and a pronounced mid range. Loaded with high quality ceramic components, you can enjoy the iconic humbucker tone with exceptional precision and definition. Although ideal for heavy rock and metal tones, the SubZero Generation can add a deeper edge to any genre.

Custom Shape for Comfort and Versatility

Refined to accommodate any player, the SubZero Generation's neck and body boasts well thought out design. Ensuring an ergonomic and comfortable instrument, you get a heavily bevelled top edge and a corresponding deeply contoured back. This is also matched with a recessed neck heel for easy access to the 24 frets.

Full Control at Your Fingertips

For an even output each of the two passive humbuckers have been optimised for their position in relation to the strings. The bridge pickup will compensate for the limited string movement and ensure your sound is reliable, clear, and balanced. The Subzero Generation is also equipped with a volume and tone knob, as well as a 3 way toggle that gives you full control over your pickup selection.

Optimised for Power and Balance

The SubZero Generation features direct mounted pickups. Delivering an intuitive feel and exceptional sustain, the humbuckers are directly bolted to the wood of the pick up cavity, as opposed to usual suspension and ring mounting. You also have the option of adjusting the pick up height when experimenting with output and balance. Fully customisable, the direct mounting will also easily facilitate guitar mods and builds.

Smooth and Sustainable Fretboard

The warm sounds of the SubZero Generation are enhanced with a mellow maple tonewood neck topped with thermally treated maple laminate fretboard. All SubZero guitars feature sustainable wood that meets the needs of the evolving world. Composed of thermally treated maple laminate, the dense and natural grain of the ethically sourced fretboards give improved tone and volume.
