All-Mahogany Construction

The Sigma BMC-15FE+ features a body crafted entirely from mahogany, which produces a rich, full and resonant tonal character. Its solid mahogany top has a natural compression which produces strong fundamentals with a direct, clear focus. Furthermore, the BMC-15FE+ also has mahogany back and sides which produce a meaty mid-range with woody, punchy tones and plenty of depth to please most playing styles.

Fishman Isys+ Preamp

The Sigma BMC-15FE+ comes equipped with a Fishman Isys+ preamp system for optional amplified performance, offering tone shaping controls for live and rehearsal settings. The preamp features rotary controls for volume, bass and treble, allowing the player to add a little extra sonic-character to the amplified sound. In addition, the preamp also features a phase button that reduces undesirable feedback when plugged in. As well as all this, the Fishman Isys+ also has a built-in tuner that provides precise and easy tuning whether performing acoustically or amplified.

Mahogany Neck & Micarta Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany, the Sigma's neck delivers a resonant rich warmth that responds superbly to many different playing styles with equal ease. Additionally, with an 864 mm scale length, the player has plenty of room to experiment up and down the fingerboard as well as unleash true potential. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a fretless micarta fingerboard which offers a smooth playing experience whilst adding sonically pleasing tones to the guitar's overall sound. The unique nature of a fretless fingerboard enables the player to achieve a more fluid playability and transparent transitions, perfect for experienced and aspiring players alike.

Real Bone Nut

The BMC-15FE+ features a real bone nut, which offers excellent resonance and sustain, along with an authentic appearance. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self lubricates and helps you stay in tune for longer.
