The Sustainiac in the neck will keep your notes waling like a baby for much longer periods of time - perfect for screeching divebombs and blistering, emotive solos. Robust mahogany body

The Schecter Synyster Standard's body is constructed from high-quality mahogany, producing powerful tones and a sweet sonic punch. The mahogany tonewood offers naturally rich, warm characteristics, with a balance of grind and bite to create tight lows and appealing highs. The wood also delivers an excellent amount of depth, providing the guitar with an incredible sustain and resonance. The body is finished with Synyster’s iconic pinstripe design, featuring a gloss black colour with silver stripes and black hardware to create a visually stunning guitar.

Maple and ebony - the dynamic duo

Like lightning. This guitar's Ultra Thin 'C' maple neck provides insane manoeuvrability bright characteristics, creating a snappy attack in the midrange and a sizzling high end. When the strings are played hard, the wood adds extra layers of punch to the tone, while light to medium picking offers more clarity. The addition of an ebony fingerboard enhances the Synyster Gates Standard with a beautifully bright, responsive attack, with its natural feel delivering a smooth performance and plenty of overtones. It also comes with many other features, including Grover Rotomatic heads which offer smooth, fine tuning and great stability, and a pearloid 'Syn' inlay with a death bat at the 12th fret.

So you like vibrato? With a Floyd Rose FR 1500 Series tremolo system, you can have all the vibrato in the world. A 'floating' bridge, it will let you bend notes up or down with ease using the whammy bar – and you can do divebombs too. You can also fine tune the strings using the fine tuning screws – without having to take off the locking nut.
