Key Features
The Fulltone 70 Fuzz pedal is reminiscent of the classic '70s fuzz pedals popularised by guitarists like Jimi Hendrix. It features a classic saturated fuzz tone created from two intentionally mismatched (for harmonic content) silicon transistors that snarl and spit. This pedal includes a mids control to help you cut through the mix, while an internal BIAS control allows you to change the feel and responsiveness of the pedal.
If you're looking for a classic fuzz tone with modern controllable functions to help your guitar be heard over the band - no matter how warm or saturated it becomes - then look no further. This touch sensitive, '70s style fuzz pedal is housed within a highly robust and compact chassis which is built to survive all the trials of life on the road - so you can be sure the Fulltone 70 will stick with you for a long time.

The Fulltone 70 Fuzz Pedal is a reissue of the original line of pedals from Fulltone, reduced in size to make it a pedalboard friendly unit. The original design aimed to imitate the '70s touch sensitive fuzz pedals, used by guitarists like Jimi Hendrix. It was built to provide overdriven fuzz tones that respond well to the guitar volume control, with warmth and screaming sustain. Michael Fuller (Fulltone President) recently found a stash of his favourite transistors for this circuit and has reissued the pedal in its current guise.
The Fulltone 70 Fuzz Pedal features fuzz and volume controls to control the amount of saturation and sustain you require, from overdriven to full-on saturation and sustain. It also includes a Mids knob which helps your fuzz tone stand out over a band. When set fully counter-clockwise, the tones are reminiscent of older fuzz pedal designs. An extra internal BIAS control lets you set the pedal response, from soft and compressed to loud with quicker tracking and increased bottom-end. This changes the overall compression and transient response and gives the Fulltone 70 Fuzz Pedal added control which is beyond the usual fuzz design, where often your guitar tone can get lost in the mix.
