The John Petrucci Majesty is equipped with innovative and oustanding technology, which offer the ultimate stage performance. The Majesty's electronics offer an incredibly versatile performance with a pair of DMT Signature Illuminator Humbuckers which produce an array of different tones. The pickups are able to create those sparkling cleans, crunchy rock tones, as well as heavy, face-melters. The Majesty includes a gain changer system which allows you to choose any combination of pickup wiring and with digital pickup switching capabilities which effectively eliminate delay between pickup selection.

Custom JP Piezo Floating Tremolo Bridge

The guitar features a Custom JP Piezo Floating Tremolo Bridge which offers vigorous pitch bending and it also allows a beautiful acoustic sound through the saddles. This unique feature offers great-sounding acoustic tones simply with a flick of a switch. The Schaller Locking Tuners strengthen your tuning stability and keep your guitar in perfect tune no matter how hard you play. With technology to accommodate many playing styles including acoustic, clean, heavy rhythm and lyrical leads, the versatility of this guitar helps make you a king of the tonal universe.

Inspired by Race Cars

The appearance of the Majesty guitar is equally as breathtaking and forward-thinking as the electronics. Inspired by Petrucci's love of race cars due to their grace, beauty and power, the Majesty has a sleek, modern feel. The fingerboard inlays are Custom JP mirrored bullet inlays, adding to the sleek and royal look. The Majesty comes in three stunning matte finishes and the Arctic Dream has a beautiful and unique two-tone turquoise and purple appearance. To create the automobile inspired carbon fibre look that Petrucci dreamed of, the top engineers at Music Man were able to laser-etch the maple top. Etched into the shape of a shield, and resembling carbon fibre, Petrucci's Majesty goes that step further with the stunning design.

Ebony Fingerboard Paired With Mahogany Neck

The Majesty is manufactured with a ebony fingerboard, which offers smoother and faster playing, allowing you to navigate the frets as fast as Petrucci himself. Ebony produces a very responsive, bright and snappy attack which works well paired with a mahogany neck. The sturdy mahogany gives the guitar a rich, focused sound perfect for those rock tunes. The neck-through construction offers a more comfortable playing experience with easier access to the higher frets as well as providing greater sustain. Neck-through guitars are often sturdier than other guitars due to excellent stability and they also allow your instrument to stay in tune longer.

About John Petrucci

John Petrucci is best known as the guitarist, producer, lyricist and founding member of the successful progressive metal band Dream Theater as well as the guitarist and founding member of Liquid Tension Experiment. More recently, John has been involved in the research and development of numerous signature guitars with Music Man, including this Arctic Dream Majesty. Petrucci himself is a long-time user of Music Man which makes this custom electric guitar perfect for ultimate rock royalty.
