The Acoustic Singer is an incredible way to amplify your acoustic guitar and achieve the stage sound that you’re looking for. At Boss, engineers have managed to create an amp that accurately reproduce the transient response, natural sound, and three-dimensional feel from your acoustic guitar. Innovative materials and precision design points have been utilised to create the custom built woofer and dome tweeter to allow the production of rich and vibrant sounds that fill the venue. The cabinet is constructed in such a way that enables the removal of unwanted frequencies, allowing for a tilt-back position and ultimate sound projection.
Included on this model is a discrete analogue input circuit, offering plenty of headroom to maintain the natural characteristics of your acoustic guitar. Working in combination with this circuit is Boss’ Acoustic Resonance System, returning a sterile and digital sounding tone of piezo pickups back to their organic sound. Also included is a three-band EQ, assisting you in shaping your desired tone, as well as a phases switch and notch control to tame feedback issues. Rounding off the tone is an optimised reverb and two types of chorus.
This model comes equipped with a unique vocal harmony function, letting you create live harmonics with amplified vocals or guitar. Due to the automatic capabilities of this function, there is no complicated set up required. Focus on your performance. Everything is analysed in real-time, including complicated chord progressions and melodies, generating impressive harmonies tuned to your desired key. There are two harmony settings on this amp, along with a unison setting for doubling your sound.
You will never be short of options for connecting your amp to other equipment. Dual DI/line outputs are provided on XLR connectors, alongside a useful mode switch for blending the two output channels together. An aux input with level control lets you to add backing music from various sources to your amplified sound. Also on offer is a USB output, enabling you to connect straight to any digital audio workstation. The Rec/Phones jack grants you the ability to undertake quiet practice sessions, or record to portable devices. There are also an abundance of footswitch inputs to allow external and easy control of features such as the automatic harmony function, looper, in-built effects and more via optional Boss footswitches.
