Paired with a ceramic bridge pickup, you get a brutally aggressive cut for your solos, ensuring you're lead lines slash through the mix on stage.

But if you want the option to produce the iconic, snappy tones of a single-coil pickup – you can. Home to a push/pull coil tap switch, players are able to use just one coil from each humbucker in any combination they wish. Since the same piece of wood makes up the neck of the guitar, and middle-section of the body – the strings are able to vibrate the housing of the pickups, and this response can then be transferred to the amplifier. What this means is that each note you play will resonate right through to the pickups, and this provides a level of sustain that other neck types can’t compete with. So when you’re rocking the stage with an exhilarating solo, you can count on the Shredzilla to scream with near-endless resonance.

An effect worth killing for

…well maybe not literally. But the Shredzilla's unique killswitch function certainly opens up a world of potential for your sound. Activated via a button underneath the pickups, the effect simply 'kills' your guitar signal and turns it back on again. So, when performed quickly, you can unleash an exotic stuttering effect for a more percussive and rhythmic feel in your playing. And, when combined with multiple effects pedals, players can achieve some truly creative sounds and push the boundaries for typical guitar-playing.
