A unique, professional conga. The Tycoon Master Heritage Series Conga is constructed using a specially formulated 3-layer shell. The two inner layers are made from Siam oak, offering ultimate strength and durability, with an outer layer of Russian pine for its stunning aesthetics. This 30'' tall conga has a wide 15.5'' belly to provide a rich, mid-range tone. The shell is fitted with three steel bands, further increasing the durability of the shell while accentuating the traditional look and feel of the instrument. The brushed chrome hoops offer accurate, reliable, and consistent tuning capabilities, which can be finely adjusted using the 3/8'' diameter tuning lugs.
Due to the natural finish of the shell - each instrument has its own unique personality. The Master Heritage Congas undergo a detailed finishing procedure, including strategical searing of the Russian pine to deliberately create a rustic appearance.

Making a difference
All of the woods used in the Tycoon factory come from environmentally friendly sources. The population of trees is carefully monitored, and new trees are planted roughly every 20 years once they are no longer able to produce natural rubber. These efforts ensure that the production process will never lead to deforestation or disturb wildlife. Any leftover materials are reused, allowing them to produce less waste and reduce their environmental footprint.
