Body

In the construction of the body only selected wood of the finest quality is used. Each carefully selected piece of Grenadilla is stored for several years to guarantee effective seasoning and lessen the occurrence of cracks and splits later on before artisans precisely carve each barrel, upper joint, lower joint and bell from a single piece of wood.

The wood is finally treated in an oil bath for an extended period of time and "preserved" with paraffin to lock in the oil. All instruments are given a final inspection to ensure that they are up to the highest of standards. With the reputable craftsmanship of Schreiber, this clarinet is made to have an excellent intonation and sound.

Keywork

The smoothly designed keywork has been slightly altered to reduce the weight, making it even more comfortable to play and giving it a streamlined quality. The keywork is made of nickel silver and silver plated for shine and durability. The usage of high-quality material guarantees functional reliability, stability and stable performance. The adjustable thumb rest is also made of nickel silver and allows players to find the most comfortable setting.
