DISCYamaha CSVR Atelier A Clarinet Overview
The Yamaha CSVR Atelier A Clarinet has been carefully refined by Yamaha Artisans to give players unrivalled freedom of expression. A significant number of modifications have been made to the Yamaha CSVR's design, providing a premium sound and superb comfort. The newly designed linkage system found on the Yamaha CSVR Eb lever achieves a much smoother key action for more virtuosic playing. This coupled with the ergonomically engineered shape of the keys makes the Atelier A clarinet incredibly comfortable to hold. Finally, this clarinet comes complete with a case and a 4CM mouthpiece.
Please note that wooden instruments are affected by humidity and temperature and as a result, the wood may expand and contract which would affect joints such as the tenons and bell rings. If you do experience any difficulties, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.

The Yamaha CSVR Atelier series sets new standards in professional clarinet craftsmanship. The Atelier series is designed to offer a rich tone that is refined enough to project your specific tonal distinctions without being overpowering. This means they're ideal for both ensemble and solo use. Similar to previous flagship clarinets from Yamaha, the Atelier series includes the unmistakable unique diamond-shaped initial plate. This way they are easily recognisable from a distance, clearly distinguishing Yamaha artists and the premium instruments they use.
Improved Design
Yamaha have taken the positive features of both traditional and modern instruments to produce a versatile sound. The addition of tenon metal rings found on the CSVR not only improves definition and projection but also reduces any labour costs by minimising any possible swelling. The newly designed lift linkage system on the Eb lever results in a much smoother key action which is far better for more virtuosic performances. The A and register keys on the CSVR clarinet have been redesigned to be more ergonomic to offer a more natural and comfortable feel.
Included Accessories
All clarinets in the Atelier range include a Yamaha 4CM mouthpiece, a traditional case and a multifunction case which are constructed from first-class materials. They also include two barrels of different length; 65mm and 66mm. This way the player can choose the barrel which is best suited to the pitch of the performance.
