The SK range of keyboards is all about producing the perfect organ sound for studios and gigs alike. With 12 Hammond Macro profiles, all with 17 tweakable parameters, there is plenty of choice to go at. There are also 96 adjustable digital tonewheels which enables you to create your perfect B3. It doesn't just stop at Hammond organs. In the SK, there are also Vox, Pipe and Farfisa combos that enable the performer to really get the most out of the playing experience.
Ever since the dawn of the 1935 Hammond Organ, the Leslie speaker has not been far behind. The SK series takes the classic combination of the rotary Leslie speaker and the Hammond organ and constructs it in to a digital emulator. It has all the features but takes up much less space! The SK1 also has all of the features, including ramp up and down features, where the rotary speeds are changed. As well as this, the emulator also reenacts amp type, virtual mic placement and many other cabinet features. On the SK, there are several factory settings that replicate the 122, 147 and the 760 and are all available for instant selection. Perhaps you already have the Leslie speaker. Not a problem with the SK1. Simply use the 8 pin connector on the back of the keyboard and connect straight to the Leslie while not going through the digital emulator.
The Hammond SK range doesn't just feature organs, but also includes a varied range of top class sounds. Ranging from a Yamaha C7 Grand, through Wurlitzer and Rhodes electric pianos, harpsichords and clavinets. It even features a bank of orchestral and synth sections, making it a tool ready for any performance occasion.
"After playing the Sk1 this will certainly be my main gigging axe for everything keyboard I do. I will be using it on the next Hall and Oates tour as well as any future TV appearances we do." - Eliot Lewis, Multi-instrumental Rock Artist
"This thing is a beast! Its classic drawbar tones combined with Hammond's new digital Leslie sim are the most authentic I have ever heard. It even sounds great in mono! This is my go to for every gig I do. Add on top of that an arsenal of great sounding vintage keyboards and the ability to split them across the keyboard and you have yourself a 'One stop shop for rock" - Christian Matthew Cullen
