The M4 G features a solid Mahogany top and 3 piece Rock Maple body, giving it a warm, full-bodied tone with excellent projection. It also features a delicately ornate ''moustache'' style Tusq® bridge and compensated Tusq® saddle for improved clarity and sustain. Additional features include vintage-style open geared tuners and a semi gloss finish, that add an overall elegance to this wonderful instrument.
Easy To Play
The M4 has been strongly inspired by the classic Appalachian Dulcimer, the M4 features diatonic frets, with the intervals following the notes of the major scale, rather than the usual chromatic fretting. This basic fret layout makes the M4 an exceptionally fun and easy instrument to learn for all players.
Tuning
Like other dulcimer inspired instruments that feature a particular key, the Seagull M4 is tuned in the key of G, allowing players to jam along with similar tuned instruments.
