Product Ref: 54495
The guitar's Mini Jumbo body shape is similar in size to the popular Dreadnought style, but more curvaceous and with a narrower waist, producing a warm and balanced tone with excellent midrange projection. Its solid Spruce top provides clear highs and crisp articulation, making it ideal for a range of styles and genres, while the back and sides are made from 3-layer laminated Walnut, giving it a bright top end with a strong, present-sounding midrange.
The guitar's ergonomic Silver Leaf Maple neck features a slimmer nut width of 1.72'', which provides a faster, more traditional feel compared to the standard Seagull nut width of 1.8''. The neck's integrated set construction provides stability and prevent twisting or warping, even in difficult climates, while the tapered headstock is designed to provide a straight string pull, ensuring greater ease and consistency of tuning. The guitar also features Seagull's innovative Double Function Truss Rod. Unlike most conventional truss rods, this rod is able to bend in both directions, providing greater ease of adjustment for correcting both under- and over-bowed necks.
The guitar is coated with a thin custom polished finish, which provides the necessary resistance to wear and tear without being thick enough to deaden the solid Spruce top's natural sound. By allowing the wood to breathe and vibrate freely, this carefully applied finish promotes the guitar's "aging" process, causing it to develop a richer, more expressive tone the more it is played.
