Solid Ash Wood Body

The Fender LTD Meteora features a solid ash wood body, delivering a classic Fender ‘twang’ with sweet, airy tones. The lightweight ash provides the guitar with excellent resonance and sustain, offering firm lows, pleasing highs, and a scooped midrange. This Limited-Edition Guitar is finished in a vintage blonde and a nitrocellulose lacquer, with its thin, porous, and delicate coating allowing the tonewoods to breath with their natural tonal character and resonance. The lacquer is also known to wear and age in a certain way that appeals to many players.

Mid '60s ''C'' Maple Neck & Fingerboard

The Limited-Edition Meteora is equipped with a smooth mid ‘60s ‘’C’’ shaped maple neck and 9.5’’ radius fingerboard, offering an incredibly comfortable performance and an agile playing feel many players will appreciate. The maple tonewood provides the Fender with a beautifully bright characteristic, tightening up the overall tones and delivering plenty of cut and bite. Using maple for both the neck and fingerboard provides players with a sharp, clear punch when the strings are hit hard, while light to medium picking brings out the subtler tones of the maple.

Custom Shop Vintage-Style & ''Twisted'' Tele Single-Coils

A set of custom shop single-coil tele pickups provide the Meteora with an incredibly vintage and iconic Telecaster tone, with a high output designed for creating crushing rock ‘n’ roll soundscapes. The Custom Shop hand-wound "Twisted" Tele single-coil neck pickup delivers a powerful tone, with a hint of glassiness typical of a Tele. Its alnico 5 magnets provide a focused midrange with an enhanced dynamic and beautifully full sound. The custom shop vintage-style single-coil bridge pickup delivers a more warm and vintage tone, offering the perfect blend of focused mids and high gain.

String Through Construction

This Limited-Edition Fender incorporates a string-through body construction to improve the overall tonality and sustain, transferring the vibrations and resonance from the strings to the body. The modern ''Ashtray'' bridge features compensated brass saddles to keep the strings stable, allowing the guitar to be played harder without going out of tune.

Narrow Tall Frets

Another addition to this model are the 22 narrow tall frets, which are mounted on the maple fingerboard and provide incredible comfort when performing slides. Being slightly narrower than standard medium jumbo frets, the narrow tall frets are incredibly effective for bending notes and playing chords with superb intonation.

Bone Nut

Along with its amazing tone and looks, the Fender Meteora also features a bone nut which adds to its classic aesthetic. The main purpose of using a bone nut, compared to modern materials, is the bone offers excellent resonance and sustain. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self-lubricates and helps the guitar to stay in tune for longer.

Elite Moulded Case

This unique guitar is delivered in an elite moulded case, featuring body-hugging contours which holds the guitar firmly in place. TSA latches are also included for enhanced security and easy access. This durable case also features a stacking ability, for easy storage and transport.
