The Dean AXS Dreadnought Cutaway features an all-mahogany construction, which enables players to achieve a powerful mid-range tone. Its all-mahogany construction delivers a rich, full, and resonant sound, as well as producing a focused, punchy mid-range, strong fundamentals with a clear and direct focus. The woody, rich, soft warm tones accommodate numerous genres and styles of play with ease, but is particularly well-suited to blues players.
Constructed from mahogany, the AXS's neck delivers a rich, and resonant warmth that responds greatly to many different playing styles and techniques with equal ease. To provide comfort, the AXS Dreadnought Cutaway features a C shaped neck profile, which provides players with a comfortable and secure grip, reducing the likeliness of a cramping hand. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that offers players a smooth and energetic play, and adds a bright sparkling-sizzle to the overall tone. Its rosewood fingerboard is subtly decorated with beautiful pearl dot inlays for added elegance.
The Dean AXS features a dreadnought cutaway body, which projects an enormous voice yet still maintains overall tonal balance. This well-balanced dreadnought voice is as equally suited to fingerstyle techniques as it is to aggressive strumming, making it versatile and ideal for a wide range of genres. Its dreadnought body also has superb projection and volume, which makes it ideal for the singer/songwriters. Vocalists are able to push their diaphragm to the max and not feel too loud against the guitar's volume, as it will sing as loud as you do. The AXS Dreadnought also has a cutaway profile that promotes the access to upper fingerboard shredding, making it easy for players to reach more challenging chords.
