Powerful Pickups

The Yamaha TRBX204 utilises the classic split-p and j-style single-coil pickup configuration, producing a thick, midrange focused tone. The pickup configuration is also highly versatile, with the combination of both pickups allowing you to blend between the two to create the sound you desire. The single-coil pickup at the bridge adds attack and clarity to your tone whereas the neck pickup focuses on the midrange and low end, delivering a thick yet punchy bass response.

4-Control Circuit

As well as its powerful pickup combination, the TRBX204 also features a range of controls for affecting the tone and volume. The controls include Master Volume, Pickup Balancer, Bass and Treble. The Pickup Balancer control allows you pick between the two pickups, allowing you to find that perfect tone. Dial the knob toward the neck pickup for a more thick and warm tone, or toward the bridge pickup for a more defined tone; you can also blend between the two to find the best tone for you. The bass and the treble knobs provide extra control over the tone, allowing you to dial in the amount of low or high-end you want, essentially acting as a 2-band EQ.
