Small size, yet powerful tones. This is what you get from the Luna Safari. Its small dreadnought body gives you that incredible strength and projection the larger size is known for, but enhances it with a size that you can easily travel with. The dreadnought body shape also accommodates a variety of playing styles, providing you with a versatile performance.
Travel guitars are ideal if you like playing on the move as they don't burden you with a heavy weight and a large size. You'll never feel restricted whenever creativity strikes. Its small size also makes it perfect for home and studio environments since you can easily store it away when not in use.
A mahogany body sits at the heart of the Luna Safari Trinity, delivering a beautifully rich, resonant tone that suit a wide variety of playing styles. The rich sounding body is topped with classic spruce, a tonewood that's widely used for its beautifully balanced and versatile sound. Its crisp articulation, broad dynamic range, and excellent resonance will suit a range of different musical genres. Another great feature of the spruce top is that its sound only gets better over the years, offering extra depth and dynamics. Essentially providing you with a tone that will improve alongside your skill.
Coupled with its mahogany body is a matching neck to improve the Luna's overall resonance, enhancing the tonal qualities of the body and delivering a powerful performance. Mahogany's also very durable, ensuring you'll always have a reliable instrument on hand. Giving the neck a C-shaped profile and topping it with a walnut fingerboard provides you with excellent comfort. Your fretting hand will naturally cup the neck, no matter where on the fingerboard you are. This lets you enjoy your playing more and opens up the doors to more technical playing styles.
Luna Guitars are as much a work of art as they are comfortable instruments designed for players of all ages and sizes. The company was envisioned by Yvonne de Villiers, an accomplished stained-glass artist who believed instruments should not only be a tool for music but an extension of a musician's uniqueness.
Yvonne took inspiration from her mother, Hilda Villers (a bassist for over 40 years), believing that everyone should have a guitar that suits them - no matter their age or size. Luna Guitars ensures their instruments both beautiful and reliable, forever changing with the growing world, embracing diversity, and ensuring everyone can have a guitar that will engages their mind, spirit, and talent.
