The Ibanez S5521Q Electric Guitar

From the cutting edge of Ibanez design comes this addition to their S series, the S5521Q is crafted from Mahogany to create its body then coupled with a quilted Maple top and coated in a Transparent Aqau Blue finish to create an instrument of beauty. The Ibanez also features a super wizard neck perfect for speedy runs and riffs, dual humbucking pickups for a full and sharp tone, 5 way pickup selector for a vast array of tone choices, cosmo black hardware and the signature feature of all S series guitars, an ultra-thin body. The Ibanez S5521Q is a beautifully designed guitar that brings quality in build and performance.

Mahogany Body and Quilted Maple Top

The guitars body is crafted from Mahogany to deliver a warm, soft tone that has plenty of bite and grind to keep it well balanced and give it plenty of depth and coupled with a quilted Maple top, coated in a Transparent Aqua Blue finish to produce a unique cosmetic style. Not only does the body lift the upper frequencies whilst remain lightweight, but the profile of the body allows for a more comfortable and smooth play thanks to the gentle roll of the body.

Super Wizard HP Neck

The Ibanez also features a 5pc Maple/Walnut neck with a bound Rosewood fingerboard to create a bright tone that compliments the rich lower tones that are produced by the body and with articulation infused into the guitars sound. The guitars neck also has a Super Wizard HP profile to ensure that the tone has an enduring sustain and is treated with their Prestige fret edge treatment to create a seamless feel along the neck and allow for a more comfortable and smooth play.

Ibanez V7 and V8 Pickups

The S5521Q is equipped with two incredibly powerful Ibanez pickups, the V7 which is situated at the neck and the V8 near the bridge, which have been specially designed for the S Prestige series to optimize the gain whilst helping to retain its sharp fierce attack. When combined, the V7 and V8 pickups produce an immense amount of power and tone to match, as well as each pickup featuring optimised gain control to give them a sharp, articulate response. No matter how load the volume is, the S5521Q will still hold onto clarity.

Gilbratar Standard II Bridge

The Guitar also features a heavy duty Gibraltar Standard II bridge to allow maximum contact between the body and bridge in order for the strings vibration to be transferred more efficiently to increase the guitars sustain and resonance. The Gibraltar Standard II bridge also offers solid tuning to keep you strings in check, no matter the playing style.

Gotoh Magnum Locking Machine Heads

With the Gotoh Magnum locking machine heads, the Ibanez S5521Q will uphold its tuning integrity with unwavering precision making sure to keep the tuning of the guitar stable no matter how intense you may play, or how often you may change your tuning.
