The Dean Tracii Guns V Floyd features custom graphics and is designed to make an imposing impression on stage. A modern neck specification ensures excellent playability for solo work, and these features all come together to form a reliable gig-ready instrument that stands out from the crowd and sounds as good as it looks.
Iconic Metal V Shaped Mahogany Body
Dean's V guitar shape was created back in 1977 with the idea of having ultimate sustain and tone. Dean believed that the radical string angles could increase the resonance which brings the guitar to life. Featuring a V-shaped headstock, this creates extra string length to give the guitar a completely unique sound. The Tracii Guns model is crafted from warm and resonant mahogany and paired with a mahogany neck for increased sustain. The set-neck design ensures excellent string vibration transference and an easier playing feel for the left hand at the top frets.
V Neck & Ebony Fingerboard
The mahogany, V-shaped neck is designed to fit into the player's hand more comfortably. The Tracii Guns model features an ebony fingerboard which provides an articulate, bright and snappy attack which works well with the warmth of the mahogany. The fingerboard is in a modern 12" radius with jumbo frets to ensure easier string bends, vibrato, and overall lead guitar playing accuracy.
