The Pearl Reference Pure Shell Pack builds upon the series started by Pearl's original Reference drums by using the exact same shell layout formula. Every drum in the Reference Pure shell pack comes with it's own blend of maple, birch and African mahogany. This creates a unique, flawless tone which works perfectly in hand with the custom bearing edges to administer the perfect amount of bite and volume. The result is an incredible sound that you won't find anywhere else that's promised to provoke creativity every time you sit down to play.

High Quality Components

The Reference Pure uses thin plies in it's construction, resulting in a thin, resonant, extremely vibrant yet powerful tone and experience with the wonderful accentuation effects of birch and African mahogany placed exactly where they are needed most. The Reference Pure series also features low-contact STL swivel tube lugs with 1.6mm Fat Tone hoops to trigger the full resonance of the drums and give the series a sleek, stylish look that's complemented by a premium matte walnut finish that will be sure to turn heads on stage.
